Importance derivation; layered layout; versioning semantics; known limitations.
Station size reflects catalogue signals, including linked profiles, recorded panel activity, sponsorship and recency. Size is a visual aid, not an assessment of a role’s authority or a person’s competence.
The layout places roles along their recorded successor sequence and groups related stations to aid reading. Curated positions may adjust the layout; position alone does not establish a chronological commitment.
RPF calculates a content hash from the assembled map data. The hash identifies that data but does not provide historical storage. If an older hash no longer matches, RPF shows an unavailable-version notice rather than substituting the current map.
Available export controls produce a static copy for documents or presentations. Check the chosen format, size and legibility before sharing the file.
When citing a map, record its address, discipline, jurisdiction, displayed version and access date. Retain an export when the exact displayed content matters; the address alone does not preserve a historical snapshot.
