Transform My Role across jurisdictions
Each jurisdiction has its own canonical future-ready Role per discipline. Transform My Role always picks the canonical in your stated (or auto-detected) jurisdiction. Plus: which hosts the URL fetcher won't crawl, and what to do instead.
The canonical-future-ready-per-jurisdiction rule
RPF does not maintain a single global canonical future-ready Role per discipline. Each supported jurisdiction publishes its own, sponsored by a body active in that market. Transform My Role always picks the canonical future-ready Role for the jurisdiction your session resolves to — explicit if you provide a jurisdiction hint, auto-detected from the posting otherwise. If your jurisdiction has no canonical, the no-future-ready empty state offers a sponsorship CTA pointing at the body one-pager.
URL-fetcher policy
The URL fetcher respects robots.txt with a one-hour cache, hard-caps responses at 5 MB, and refuses a conservative no-crawl host list of major employment platforms whose Terms of Service forbid automated fetching. For those hosts, paste the text into the paste-text mode (with the rights tickbox) — paste is functionally identical to URL fetch from the pipeline's perspective.
- linkedin.comOn the no-crawl list. Paste the text instead.
- indeed.com / indeed.co.uk / indeed.com.br / …On the no-crawl list. Paste the text instead.
- glassdoor.comOn the no-crawl list. Paste the text instead.
- ziprecruiter.comOn the no-crawl list. Paste the text instead.
The no-crawl list is open for community-contributed extension via a Phase 19 governance flow. Hosts not on the list are fetched if their robots.txt allows it; otherwise the user sees a friendly "paste the text instead" message.
Brazil (BR)
Brazil has the deepest SMC catalogue today thanks to the BFB collaboration. Canonical materials referencing ISO 19650 are substituted with ABNT NBR ISO 19650 in the gap section. Validated Portuguese (pt-BR) action statements ship with every canonical Role. Transform-My-Role sessions in BR typically render Matched-tier plans for the Architect, BIM Manager, and Facility Manager disciplines.
Ireland (IE)
Ireland substitutes IS EN ISO 19650 for ISO 19650. The Irish canonical future-ready Roles are queued behind a sponsoring body — today most IE sessions for the Architect / BIM Manager disciplines surface the sponsorship CTA on the no-future-ready empty state. Sessions for disciplines with an existing canonical render normally.
Canada (CA)
Canadian materials may substitute CSA Z250 for ISO 19650 in some contexts. Both English (en) and French (fr) variants are required for any canonical published under a Canadian sponsoring body. The Canadian canonical future-ready Roles are queued behind a sponsoring body for several disciplines; the no-future-ready empty state surfaces the sponsorship CTA for those.
Other jurisdictions
Jurisdictions without a canonical see the sponsorship CTA on every no-future-ready empty state. Sponsorship is the path: a body funds the canonical's development, attribution is permanent on the published Role, and every Transform-My-Role session in that market lights up against the new canonical immediately on publish.
