Lead designer on a CWMF public-works project — Ireland

On many Irish public projects the lead designer drafts what the authority should have specified — do it on the Build Digital templates so it survives audit.

• Draft information requirements with the Build Digital IR brief template
• Align requirement granularity with CWMF deliverable stages
• Cross-reference the Mandate's information requirements section explicitly

IS EN ISO 19650-2 governs the BEP; the CWMF governs when it is contractually examined.

• Build the pre-appointment BEP on the Build Digital template
• Evidence task-team capability and capacity for each design discipline
• Declare the federation strategy and survey/reference information assumptions

CWMF stage gates are unforgiving: a missed information milestone is a programme event, not a quality note.

• Map TIDPs to CWMF deliverable stages and aggregate the MIDP
• Hold CDE container-state discipline through design iterations
• Track milestone readiness weekly once tender-stage information is in flight

Assurance under the Mandate is documentary: if it isn't recorded in the CDE, it didn't happen.

• Maintain the compliance checklist per Mandate §4 from project start
• Record acceptance decisions and their requirement references
• Keep audit-ready exports of milestone information states

CWMF handover is the start of the asset's information life, not the end of the project's.

• Deliver asset information per CWMF Vol.3 requirements
• Validate handover containers against the original information requirements
