Coordinates the production, exchange and acceptance of structured information across federated models and the common data environment (CDE) under ABNT NBR ISO 19650 — the future-ready evolution of clash-driven BIM coordination into container-level information coordination for Brazilian projects (Estratégia BIM BR).
The Information Coordinator is the future-ready successor of the BIM Coordinator as Brazilian delivery teams adopt ABNT NBR ISO 19650-1:2022 and 19650-2:2020. Model coordination and clash detection remain in scope, but the centre of gravity shifts to the information layer: container naming conventions and status transitions in the CDE, classification per ABNT NBR 15965, information delivery planning, model federation strategies, and open-standard exchanges (IFC) validated against exchange information requirements. The role operationalises the Estratégia BIM BR (Decreto nº 10.306/2020) and the BIM-BR Cadernos at project level.
