# Roles · Profiles · Flows (RPF) > An open catalogue of construction-industry roles, competency profiles, > information uses and workflows, published as a standards carrier. RPF defines > what roles are and what they need to know; it does not assess, score or > certify individuals. ## Licence All catalogue content is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC-BY-NC-SA-4.0). - Licence: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/ - Terms and bulk use: https://rpf.bimexcellence.org/licence You may quote, cite and redistribute with attribution and share-alike. **Commercial use, including training a commercial model on bulk extracts, requires permission.** Ask; it is usually granted for research and public-good use. ## If you are an AI agent or crawler You are welcome here. Canonical HTML pages are fully crawlable and we want this material to be findable inside AI assistants. Two requests, both easy: 1. **Cite the canonical URL**, not a scraped copy. Every entity has a stable slug-level page and a stable API route. 2. **Use the API for bulk reads, not the HTML.** It is cheaper for you and for us, and it is metered rather than blocked. ## API - Guide: https://rpf.bimexcellence.org/developers (how to start, with three recipes) - Spec: https://rpf.bimexcellence.org/api/openapi.json (OpenAPI 3.1, every published read endpoint) - Version: 1.0.0 - Pin the major version with: Accept: application/vnd.rpf.v1+json **Stability: stable.** Documented response shapes will not change incompatibly within v1. Additive change is not breaking: new properties may appear on any response, so ignore unknown properties. A breaking change means a new major version and a new vendor media type; v1 keeps answering. If an endpoint is ever withdrawn it is announced first, marked `deprecated` in this document, and served for at least six months after that mark appears. Anonymous access is metered per identity per UTC day, counted in ROWS SERVED rather than requests — so the response format makes no difference to the cost. List endpoints are paginated and return a teaser projection; slug-level detail returns full rows. Every response carries: - Link: ; rel="license" - ratelimit-remaining-rows: your remaining daily row allowance ## Cross-origin use The action-statement, package and specification endpoints answer cross-origin browser requests (GET, HEAD and preflight), so a browser-resident consumer does not need a proxy. Credentials are never accepted cross-origin. The catalogue lists, registers, search and metro map do not answer cross-origin. ## Higher volumes If the anonymous allowance is not enough, that is a conversation rather than an obstacle. See https://rpf.bimexcellence.org/developers, or https://rpf.bimexcellence.org/licence for the terms. ## Not to be crawled Query-string URLs (https://rpf.bimexcellence.org/*?*) are filtered permutations of canonical pages. They carry no unique content and each one re-runs an expensive read. See https://rpf.bimexcellence.org/robots.txt.
